The Changing Breeds Deluxe Kickstarter is online and already funded.
Changing Breeds is a Sourcebook for Werewolf W20.
Here's an excerpt taken from the kickstarter description of how deluxe the book will look like:
"At least one bookmark, leatherette "hide" cover material, special edging for the pages, and a full-color interior that features new stunning color artwork are all part of this Deluxe package."

Hellfrost - German Limited Edition Player´s Handbook (Spielerhandbuch)

Just arrived:

The German publisher Prometheus Games just released (June 2013) the German limited edition of the Hellfrost Player´s Handbook (Publisher of the English version is Triple Ace Games).
For more information about the game check out the publisher´s websites or have a look at the reviews.

Prometheus offered a 3-book-preorder-bundle (Limited Edition Player´s Handbook, Limited Edition Rassilon Handbook (Announced release date: September 2013), Limited Creature Handbook (Announced release date: November 2013) through their webshop at a very good price.

The book/bundle was only available for preorder (50 personalized copies; mine got my name printed at one corner of the end-page and is numbered 18 of 50), although there may be a small number of copies/bundles left.

The digest sized book has a dark blue faux leather cover and a silver foil imprint.
In addition it got two ribbon bookmarks (blue and silver). All pages are in full colour.

And now....enjoy!

Der Eine Ring (The One Ring) - Limited Author´s Edition

The following book I got from the friendly CEO of Uhrwerk Verlag, German puplisher of many cool RPGs. Check out their website. English puplisher of The One Ring is Cubicle 7, but unfortunately they do not have such a nice, shiny limited Edition, although their edition comes in a sturdy slipcase.

As usual, you can find many infos about the game on Go and check out the reviews. It´s awesome.

The German Limited Edition (and special author´s edition) comes in a sturdy dark green faux leather hardcover with metal corners and deluxe gold foil imprints.

The Book was released October 2012 at Spiel in Essen.

The author´s version is numbered with Roman Numerals from I (1) to XXX (30) and has the name of the author/contributor imprinted. Mine has number XXVI (26). The "normal" Limited Edition is no different from the author´s copy except for the special field printed on the end-page (which overall shows a map of the Wilderlands) stating thanks to the contributors as well as the name and the Roman Numeral.

At the back there´s a triangular plastic clip, holding the folded full-colour maps of the Wilderlands.

And now....enjoy! This one is VERY deluxe.

Front cover - Damn, I love those metal corners.

Role Play Convention 2013 - Cologne Germany - June 1st-2nd 2013

RPC (Role Play Convention) is the place for every Roleplayer to be. It hosts Online RPGs, Pen and Paper, LARP and of course everything else which has to do with the topic in general.

RPC took place at Cologne Fair Center on June 1st and June 2nd 2013.

This year´s RPC was even bigger than last year´s. (last year: 50.000 attendees) Due to the fact that the Host (Cologne Fair) crossed RPC with another fair (but in a lot of different fair halls, of course) not only the usual con attendees walked through the halls, but normal housewives with their kids. Very successful experiment in my opinion.
RPC is one of the most important gaming events in the world and I like the fact that online gaming is not such a big part of RPC anymore as it was at the beginnng of the show in 2007. A lot of attendees come to see the latest developments in LARP accessories. And at least 15% of the attendees are costumed.

But see for yourself:

Video Review of RPC 2012

I even bought a Limited Edition book at RPC 2013: "Schattenkatalog 3 Limited Edition", which is the German Version of the Runner´s Black Book 2074 Limited Edition. Pictures of the book to come.
